April’s PHS Builder/Architect Hard-Hat Tour took us to Illinois’s exclusive North Shore communities of Winnetka, Glencoe and Highland Park.
We were fortunate to have a beautiful sun-drenched afternoon, setting the stage for 45+ luxury industry design, build, real estate industry professionals to tour our PHS Members’ newest construction developments along the shores of Lake Michigan. Stops One and Two were properties presented by Michael P. Freiburger NEWLOOK Development, (located in Winnetka and Glencoe respectively). We experienced the development of two side by side new homes for sale in Winnetka, both available for purchase under $2 million dollars, blocks from Lake Michigan and down the lane from the local schools. These homes are expertly designed and built to accommodate today’s discerning homebuyer at an excellent value given the location and quality. For more details or a private tour please contact, (Real estate agents name and contact). The second stop featured a finished new construction estate property by NewLook Development, nestled in an exclusive neighborhood in Glenoce. The property is MLS listed by The Hudson Company for 2.4M. (same contact information).
Our third stop was a private clients’ custom designed home under construction in east Highland Park, hosted by PHS Member, Paula Winter, the Interior Designer for this home and Architect, Richard Becker. Just to name a few of the collaborators on this project are PHS Members, Paula Winter Design, Tithof Tile & Stone, Lutron and Eco Tec Insulation.
Cocktails and Real Estate Experts
The final stop was a perfect way to end a fabulous day, as we landed at the Studio41 showroom in Highland Park. We were hosted by PHS members Larry Cabay and Sallie Fisher for networking cocktails and light bites. Studio41 set the stage for our education platform, starting with real estate experts, Connie Antoniou, Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty, and Elizabeth Jakaitis, Berkshire Hathaway Home Services KoenigRubloff Realty Group, both providing brief reports on the local real estate climate. Following was a fantastic presentation by renowned architect, Nathan Kipnis, Kipnis Architecture + Planning & NextHaus Alliance, Brian Jessen, Guaranteed Rate, and Rick Hiton, Accurity Valuation, on how Sustainability Spurs Luxury Home Sales & Home Values. The resounding attendee response is we need to continue the education on the topic of green, sustainable and resilient design * construction, as very soon this will be the norm in valuation of luxury properties.
We are thrilled to have experienced another great PHS Builder/Architect Hard-Hat Tour + Symposium connecting with old friends and sharing the opportunity to make new highly valued connections!
More incredible project tours and education to come, we look forward to seeing you next Month in Chicago’s Mid-Metro PHS Builder/Architect Hard-Hat Tour ending with our PHS Symposium in Burr Ridge on May 30th!
