Editor’s Note: Unfortunately, the project below was not ready for us to view during this Hard-Hat Tour. Fortunately, we will include it in another tour date! Stay tuned . . .
Our first stop will be at the not-to-be-missed Eric Somberg and Brian Rayski project: The Zoetic™ 350 model home. This “home of the future” constructed with innovative building materials, engineering and construction methods, Zoetic Homes is able to provide higher indoor air quality, strength and efficiency. The home is certified EPA Energy Star, EPA Indoor AirPLUS, EPA WaterSense, and DOE Zero Energy Ready. This is a rare opportunity to see what is possible in home construction today!
The Second Hard-Hat Tour Stop of the day will be at Kim Nigro’s project which is a Lincoln Square renovation. Kim, with her firm Studio Nigro Architecture + Design, is taking this home from quaint to quintessential by transforming a brick builder’s cottage into a spacious modern-living home. I’d be prepared to have your socks knocked off!
Next on the Tour, we will visit with Nathan Kipnis at his all-electric, sustainable, new construction project. A unique opportunity to learn from one of the best. This home is located on five riverfront lots! Surely to be a show stopper!
Our fourth and final PHS Hard-Hat Tour stop of the day will be a 2-story duplex renovation that designer Norma Zieger has guided. We simply can’t wait to see the transformation she has brought about.
