Gregory Hirsch

Greg Hirsch started out working on hardscape crews as a masonry laborer and foreman during high school and college. He graduated from Loyola Academy in 1986 and Loyola University in 1990 with a degree in Business Administration. He went to work full time for a high-end hardscape contractor on the North Shore. From 1990 through 1998 he held various positions from production manager to Chief Operating Officer. In 1998 he left and started Hirsch Brick and Stone Company. Greg has sold and supervised residential projects as large as $800,000 and has experience in all aspects of hardscape construction. He manages relationships with several North Shore Landscape Architecture and Contracting firms and is focusing on expanding Hirsch Brick and Stone’s residential sales into the geographic areas of the southwestern Chicago suburbs and into the Milwaukee and Madison, WI area. Greg is also a Colonel in the Wisconsin Army National Guard, who has served in Iraq. He graduated from the US Army War College with a Masters of Science in Strategic Studies in 2012 and is assigned as the Commander of the 426th Regiment at Ft McCoy, WI. He serves on several community non-profit boards and is currently a board member for Carmel Catholic High School in Mundelein. Greg is married and lives in Libertyville.
