Kathy Smart

Born and raised in Saskatchewan, Canada, Kathy developed her professional career early in direct sales. She worked with an international health provider, a major publishing house, and one of Canada's largest event and conference management companies, which allowed her to travel throughout Canada, the United States, and around the globe. Kathy joined PBS Contractors in 2020 as Director of Marketing. Within a year, she developed a marketing strategy that supported the successful launch of a new brand identity, website, and promotional campaigns and led to business opportunities and company growth. She proved her ability to lead the team and drive decisions, and in 2023, was promoted to Chief Marketing Officer. Kathy is a seasoned professional with over 30 years of marketing and sales experience who understands the power of partnerships, networking, and community. As an avid Reader, Kathy and her husband embrace a healthy work-life balance and thrive on all that Florida offers. As a fierce friend, she always finds time. As a proud mother of two (and three rescue-pups) she cherishes her time with family no matter how far away they may be. As a partner to the love of her life, she is thankful for every moment.
